Join us all of July for The Breakfast Club with Mel in the Morning every Friday morning 7:30-8:30am, this month broadcasting from the beautiful Reiman Gardens.

    When caring for plants and gardens, remember to water in the early morning or late afternoon to conserve water from evaporation! Reiman uses many techniques to keep the landscaping beautiful.

    Iowa Shriners talk to Mel about the Iowa Shrine Bowl happening tomorrow, July 21st at Jack Trice Stadium. Gates are at 5, game starts at 7, come watch this awesome game and help support Shriner's Hospital for Children. "Strong legs run that weak legs may walk"

ACTORS is looking for college age and up adults who can sing for this fun, witty revue.     Our friends Sandy and Mike from the American Legion Family of Ames. The American Legion is hosting the state convention, this Saturday July 14th. There will be a parade on 5th street in downtown Ames at 6, and the Post on Main st. is hosting a modified beer garden and serving food during and after the parade. The Iowa Veteran's Band wil be playing a concert at 7pm on the Band Shell. Everyone is welcome, stop out!
